The cheeky singer's road to fame has been full of disappointments. Perry under her original name Kathryn Hudson released a little-known gospel album and got dropped from numerous labels by the age of 22.Then changing her name too Katy Perry and following a failed venture in 2004, with mega hit production team The Matrix of Avril Lavigne fame, that fell through weeks before the album's release. It was'nt long before her breakthrough song I kissed A Girl had the sensational Katy arriving on the music scene in a big way. This is her new single ET.
